Why? We can once again enjoy those incredible dinners prepared by Chef Brett Fontana. He has posted the weekend menu and additional ala carte selections on our web page. We are now open on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. (I'll let you know when that gets extended to all week).

It is with regret that I inform you that our Banquet and Events Coordinator, Barb Bonnough has submitted her resignation so that she can spend more time with her family. We wish Barb well and will miss her Canadian sense of humor.
The Club has hired a new Banquets and Events Coordinator, Rebecca Kielblock. Rebecca has a long history in the CDA area and we are very pleased to have her join us. Please stop in this weekend for dinner or a drink and meet Rebecca.

You could pay allot more for a home by waiting!
Latest Statistics show that NOW is the time to Buy in Coeur d'Alene and Kootenai County, Idaho.
To paraphrase Will Rogers, the Cowboy philosopher of the nineteen thirties, "Buy real estate. They ain't makin' any more of it."
The average price for a home in Kootenai County, Idaho, is down 2.8%. This is very good for Buyers especially with interest rates at only 6%+/-. If and when interest rates go up again, your payment goes up. Even if the average price were to drop a bit more.... you payment won't. It may actually go up!
Our banks have money to loan and we have an excellent supply of great homes at great buys. It is a buyer's market. Take advantage of it!
So don't be afraid to buy or sell. Just use common sense. Choose properties you can afford. Make sure you use a reputable lender that is on top of what is happening in THIS market area and NOT overcome by the global market.
Although the foreclosure market has increased somewhat in North Idaho, we are not as deep in bad debt as are other parts of the Country. Most of the "BAD" news we are hearing is largely driven by activity well outside our Real Estate Geography. We really are still in a relatively good real estate market. The Coeur d'Alene Assoc of Realtor's Market Graphs show the market has stabilized.
