August 1st - 3rd, 2008 -  40th Annual - Art on the Green

Don't miss this 3-day celebration of the arts complete with hundreds of booths, children's hands-on-art projects and "clothes line" art collection. This summer there are 135-plus artists, a variety of performers and over 500 volunteers.

You can buy handcrafted works in glass, clay, leather, wood, metal and fiber directly from the artists. Or if you prefer, create your own special art in our hands-on-art sections for children and adults (materials and instructions provided). Enjoy the many food selections. Art on the Green is held at the old Fort Sherman Groundson the North Idaho College Campus, just a short walk from Downtown and City Park. Shuttle bus service to the west side of the NIC campus from downtown is also available during the festival.

Fort Sherman ParkThere is a FREE Shuttle Bus that runs daily stopping on 3rd and 4th Streets and Sherman Avenue. This event is FREE to the public; hours are Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Coeur d'Alene Art on the Green Art Exhibits
