Build a kite at area libraries - Celebrate spring with kite-building sessions led by local enthusiast Gary Kubodera. The Post Falls Public Library, 821 N. Spokane St., will host Kubodera on Saturday, April 4, at 10:30 a.m. On Saturday, April 11, he will be at the Hayden Branch of the Kootenai-Shoshone Area Libraries, 8385 N. Government Way, at 10:30 a.m., and at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Ave., at 2 p.m. The free programs are open to people of all ages. A special invitation is extended to all active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families. Kubodera will provide all the materials needed to build the kites, but participants who want to fly their kites should bring kite string. For more information contact Kubodera at (208) 755-2011. |
