I have been asked numerous times to describe the Avondale on Hayden Lifestyle and provide a bit of History. This has prompted me to compile the following information on the community "Avondale on Hayden" I hope this helps helps you to visualize "The Lifestyle"
Avondale on Hayden/Hayden Lake is only about 10+/- minutes from Coeur d'Alene, 40+/-minutes to the Spokane International Airport.
Avondale on Hayden is a community built around pristine Avondale Lake and the spectacular Avondale Golf Club Course. Home prices on Avondale Lake start around $400,000+/- to $1,200,000+/- and range from 2nd homes/cabins to year-round residences. Community is sprinkled with Golf cart paths and community lake accesses for lot owners of Avondale on Hayden. The Community is also next to Hayden Lake and the Hayden Lake Country Club. Avondale Lakeis a small pristine lake that is a popular for fishing and ice fishing for Crappie, Bass and Bluegill. It is also a popular for Ice-Skating in the winter. The Avondale on Hayden/ Avondale Golf Club, is a PGA-rated Golf Course open to public play with impeccably groomed fairways that wind through some of North Idaho's most spectacular wooded scenery, treating golfers to a visual wonderland, as well as offering them a challenging and enjoyable 6,600 yard 18 hole course. The clubhouse includes, a pro shop operated by a PGA professional. Enjoy an evening out in the Water Hazard Bar & Grill with a full menu to complete your Avondale on Hayden experience. Right across the street is another PGA-rated golf course, The Hayden Lake Country Club which is the "Home of Idaho's first 18-hole golf course".
The city of Hayden Lake and community of Avondale on Hayden border the western shores of Hayden Lake. About 4,000 acres in size with 40+ miles of shoreline, the lake hosts one full service marina and two public boat launches, a Public Restaurant and the Hayden Lake Country Club. Honeysuckle Beach is a sandy beach with a roped swim area, dock, public change house and restrooms. Fishing and water sports are popular pastimes on the lake. Hayden Lake offers some of the most desired lakefront living in North Idaho. Its close proximity to Spokane and Coeur d'Alene and the many recreational opportunities available are enhanced by the limited access and peaceful water traffic. While at Hayden Days you can pick your favorite spot to watch and cheer on the competitors of the "Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene Triathlon"; a swimming, biking and running race; that brings thousands of visitors from around the world, to see their favorite athlete compete for a $50,000 prize. Visit Hayden's Art Festival in the fall, where local artisans get a chance to show off their talent and visitors and residents alike get the chance to appreciate some of the great works they have to offer.

Spring-Temperature Averages-high 55-65 degrees, low 35-45 degrees.
Summer-Temperature Averages-high 75-85 degrees, low 45-50 degrees.
Winter - Temperate Averages-high 35-45 degrees, low 20-30 degrees.
